Instructions: Wash the moong dal and soak it in water for 30 minutes. In a pressure cooker, heat oil and add the onion. Cook until the onion is translucent. Add the tomato, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and red chili powder. Cook for 2 minutes. Add the moong dal and salt. Cook for 2 minutes. Add the water and close the pressure cooker. Cook for 3 whistles. Let the pressure release naturally. Serve hot.

Ingredients: 1 cup moong dal 1 onion, chopped 1 tomato, chopped 1 cucumber, chopped 1 carrot, grated 1/2 cup chopped cilantro 1/2 cup lemon juice Salt to taste
